SIGN FITTER/Fabricator - position available - £ Negotiable + Overtime
Fitting signs requires: Experience of sign fitting is essential. Working at heights and using power tools with a reasonable understanding of health & safety are equally important. You must have a polite manner when dealing with customers and be able to work closely with colleagues & solve problems on site.
You must be fully conversant with all aspects of sign installation including vinyl application.
Able to use your own initiative on site and work as part of a team.
Good communication skills able to deal with clients and site meetings.
You must be willing to travel though out the UK and stay away at times.
Ability to work at heights.
Access equipment experience and certification an advantage.
Clean full driving licence.
Fabricating signs requires: Knowledge of sign fabrication is not necessarily as important as power tool & bench top skills, attention to detail and following verbal or written instruction.
Making from Aluminium Extrusion ; Sheet material ; Acrylics ; PVC Foamex.
Computer knowledge an advantage but not necessary.
Experience of saws and hand power tools is essential.
CNC router operation an advantage but not necessary.
Finishing / assembly.
Attention to detail is crucial.
