Copper, Brass & Zinc Composite Cladding

These advanced composite panels are produced by two metal sheets (Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Copper, Zinc or Brass) either side of a polyethylene or fire retardant (FR) core.

The benefits of metal composite materials include:

•Less expenive material needed due to thin skins.

•Larger sheets are possbile up to 1000 x 3000mm. These sheets are extremely rigid and flat due to their composite nature.

•CNC process vs hand made shingles produces more accurate panels faster.

Unlike some of the painted finishes available in powder coating or PVDF paint, you have the actual metal on the surface. This provides authentic weathering and long term lifetime. Previously we have been restricted to a minium order quantity of 600 square meters for these exotic metal composite materails. Improments in distrubution have allowed this to be reduced to just 30 square meters.

A full range of samples is stocked for architects or professional specifiers needs.

The complete range of materials and their associated practical and price benefits can be rapidly detailed by our experienced team. Beyond the traditional usages of these materials, we can go into greater detail the suitability of different materials to a specifc environment and application. Frequently we will look to quote in paint, composite material and solid sheet.

Metal Composite Material Cladding Systems have the following benefits:

• Extremely rigid and flat. This is due to the panels being formed from a balanced composite.
• Cost effective solution. Less metal is used due to the twin skins of 0.5mm material.
• Speed of installation from the light weight composite panels
• Wide variety of materials, finishes and colours
• Larger sheet sizes are possible with fewer joint details.
• High levels of fire, acoustic and thermal performance.
• Highly resistant to all weathers

Metal Composite Sheet sizes:

• 1000 x 3000mm

Max sheet size:

Sheet lengths from 2-6m

Core material: Polyethylene or FR Mineral

Thickness of metal: 0.35mm or 0.5mm (each side of core)

Fixing systems:

• Invisible fix hook on system with pins
• Invisible fix hook on system with hooks
• Dishpan with through face fix
• Interlocking plank

The more information that can be provided, the faster, more accurate and definitive we can be with our pricing.
Ideally, a full drop box including CAD, .pdf, architectural visualisations and NBS Specifications will be provided.
Typically we like to offer a range of materials, fixing systems and finishes.

These should be broken down into:
• Survey
• Design (drawing up, workshop drawings and structural calculations)
• Manufacture
• Installation.

For jobs under 100 square meters we would generally offer a supply only price. This is due to the project overheads of RAMS, project managers, legal contractual’s, credit insurance, design detailing, site liability insurance etc. We have a list of accredited installation contractors through the UK that we can make available in these instances.
