Luxury Boutique Park Lane Hotel Refurbishment

November 14th, 2011

NES were overjoyed to be part of the refurbishment

of 45 Park Lane. The luxury 5 star Boutique Hotel in

Mayfair, London from The Dorchester Collection,

has sought after views overlooking Hyde Park.

Refurbishment of the entranceway and reception

area included the installation of a new set of

signage and canopy plinth.

Polished Brass box letters were manufactured

and finished in a black chrome to give it a

blackened steel finish. These were mounted

to an integral steel plinth, which itself was

affixed to the entrance way canopy.

The result is an eye-catching bold statement.

Waldron House, SW3

November 7th, 2011

In the heart of the Royal Borough of Kensington

and Chelsea on Old Church Street, NES has been

instrumental in the transformation of Waldron

House from a block of offices into eight luxury

apartments.

Over 100 anodised windows with integral feature

panels and balustrades were manufactured at our

factory in Essex and installed ready for the project

completion in August 2011.

Precision engineering was vital to this project and

the high quality finish produced by NES Architectural

completed the transformation of a once ugly ducking

into a beautiful swan.

10 Fetter Lane

October 17th, 2011

NES were entrusted with the manufacture and

installation of the impressive entranceway to

the extensively refurbished 10 Fetter Lane.

Over 90 intricately engineered panels were

required to clad the canopy, entrance pillars and

wall returns; all manufactured from a stylish silver

Alucobond. The fabrication of the front panels

were particularly difficult due to the tight fold

required; these panels had to be routed three

times to achieve the desired angle.

The completed development has provided high quality office
accommodation with NES providing the finishing touch of class.

Award

Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2011 Lighting Design Winner

The Chan restaurant has again been awarded a 2nd

design award this year.

This 2nd award was for it’s innovative and lighting

design at the Deltalight sponsored Restaurant & Bar

Design Awards held at the East Wintergarden,

Canary Wharf, London.

NES worked in collaboration with Andy Martin

Associates (AMA), Farrow Design, and  L+DG

Lighting to create a truly hypnotic Asian themed

lighting feature.

Utilising years of technological and manufacturing

expertise, NES fabricated anodised aluminium panels,

punched with a  series of 3mm deep 6mm diameter

apertures to emulate a Japanese garden.

The black panels combined with the installation of

NES’ market leading edge lit LED lightpanels, created

a  serene and abstract ceiling graphical feature to

the restaurant.
